Nov 04,2024In the field of gas industry, Gas Cylinder Valve is the core component to ensure the safe and efficient transmission of gas. It controls the flow of high-pressure gas in the gas cylinder and also bears the important responsibility of protecting the safety of the gas cylinder and users.
The structure of Gas Cylinder Valve is exquisitely designed and consists of valve body, valve seat, valve core, handle and sealing gasket. As the supporting structure of the entire valve, the valve body is usually made of high-strength and corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel or brass. It must not only be able to withstand the pressure of high-pressure gas, but also ensure sealing performance to prevent gas leakage. The valve seat is located inside the valve body and is the key part of the sealing of the closing member. The valve seat is usually made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials to ensure the sealing effect after long-term use. The valve core controls the flow of gas by rotating or lifting operations. The valve core and the valve seat are closely matched. When the valve core is in the closed position, it can completely block the outflow of gas. The user operates the valve core by rotating the handwheel or turning the handle to open and close the valve. The design of the handle usually takes ergonomics into consideration for easy operation. The sealing gasket is located between the valve core and the valve seat, and between the valve body and the external connector, to enhance the sealing performance and prevent gas leakage.
The working principle of the Gas Cylinder Valve is simple and efficient. When the gas in the gas cylinder needs to be released, the user rotates the hand wheel or pulls the handle to lift the valve core from the valve seat, thereby opening the gas channel. Under the action of the pressure difference, the high-pressure gas flows out through the gap between the valve core and the valve seat and enters the use system. When the gas flow needs to be stopped, the user only needs to rotate the hand wheel in the opposite direction or pull the handle to let the valve core fit back to the valve seat and close the gas channel. Due to the close fit between the valve core and the valve seat, and the auxiliary role of the sealing gasket, gas leakage can be effectively prevented. The safety device also plays an important role in the working process of the gas cylinder valve. When the pressure in the gas cylinder exceeds the set value, the safety valve will automatically open and release part of the gas to reduce the pressure; and the overpressure protection device can cut off the gas supply in extreme cases to prevent accidents such as gas cylinder explosion.
